Green Bay Holiday Parade

This past weekend, Green Bay held the 35th annual Holiday Parade. My hubby, Gene, volunteers at the Automobile Gallery in town, which is a classic car gallery with a minimum of 100 cars on display. Most of these cars are vintage, but there are a few newer vehicles as well.  Bart Star’s 1967 Corvette is inside, which was the first car ever given to a NFL MVP. Cool, right?

Gene drove an Automobile Gallery, 1959 Buick and Green Bay Mayor, Jim Schmitt and his wife, Mary, rode in the back. Mayor Schmitt has been our mayor in Green Bay for 16 years and this was his last parade as he’s decided not to run again.

Since we were the beginning of the parade we walked back to where some friends were and finished watching the parade with them. The weather was pretty nice when the sun was out, around 30ish. But no wind and no snow.

Those are live reindeer in some of those pictures, they were right behind us in the parade. Not nearly as big as I expected.

Now we’re trying to figure out how to join the parade as PJ Fiala for next year for exposure. I’ll let you know how that works.  In the meantime, Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
