We’re chatting today about the parallels between our writing and our real lives.  They say write what you know and you’ll be fine. There’s a lot of truth to that. When we write what we know, we speak from experience and the feeling that needs to be associated with our stories comes through. Not so…

So this week we’re interviewing one of our characters and I chose Nita Brown.  Nita is the heroine in Missing Desire. I find her a very interesting character for many reasons.  Nita’s been widowed for going on eight years. She’s stronger than she thinks, but she’s let life beat her down a bit. Nita’s husband…

I’ve been excited to announce this but waited until we had things rolling along.  My fellow author and friend, Stacey Joy Netzel, and I have formed a not-for-profit corporation named, Authors4Veterans, Inc.  Our intention is to run fundraising events for our service members and their families. Stacey and I both have or have had children…

As writers, we’re sedentary often.  I mean hours and hours a day.  That can be detrimental to your health and your waistline.  So this week we thought we share some of our tips on what we do to stay healthy. Last year I bought a treadmill with a desk on it.  I used it all…
I will not share, sell or rent the email you have given me with anyone. I will never spam you. There is an “unsubscribe” button at the end of all emails I send and clicking on it will remove your email from my mailing list. I do have cookies installed on my site, it’s to help me collect stats about visitors and I get super excited when I see people visiting from all over the world. Lastly, I do use affiliated links which means that I may get advertising fees by advertising and linking to some stores on line (basically, I can receive commissions on some purchases you make when you arrive at some vendors sites after clicking on a link on one of my sites). This doesn’t change anything for you since the price remains the same.
