R.A.P.T.O.R.
As I neared the final book in my GHOST series, I felt bad that I wouldn’t be with these characters anymore. I fell in love with all of them. They each bring something different to the table, which is what all groups of friends do. There is always someone good at one thing or another, and someone else better at something different all together. That’s why a group of friends are so interesting. People are interesting.
Then I read an article about how the government is retraining wounded soldiers, Marines and SEALs to hunt child pornographers and traffickers. That hit home for me. You all know I love my veterans. Add in a veteran who has been wounded protecting us and now helping to save kids – Wow – trifecta.
That article is what caused me to write my R.A.P.T.O.R. series. RAPTOR stands for Revenge And Protect Team Operation Recover. Each of the team members of RAPTOR have been wounded in the line of duty. They’ve then either been drafted or applied to join in Operation Live Again, which retrained them to work around their new disabilities and enhance their abilities. And they now work to protect children hunted, trafficked and abused by pedophiles.
There are three RAPTOR teams –
Team Alpha is recon and recovery; Diego Josephs, Donovan Keach and Charlesia Sampson
Team Bravo is Cyber Intelligence; Piper Dillion, Caiden Marx and Decon Smythe.
Team Charlie is Special Ops; Falcon Montgomery, Creed Rowan and Emersyn Copeland.
Despite the three teams they all work together as they all have the common goal, protect kids.
