I was really looking forward to this love story as we learned about the noticeable attraction/interaction between Charlesia and Sam. Charly’s teammates had picked on her and made comments when Sam entered into other books which was just intriguing. Sam is a detective, him and Charly often end up at crime scenes but they don’t have a lot of interaction until this case. These two find love while they are working together to find missing children and put away criminals. There are a few plots in this book and I couldn’t stop listening until all my questions were answered. I found myself laughing between the more intense moments. I listened to it in just a little bit over one day because I got interrupted by life obligations. Thankfully I had gotten to where they were wrapping up the case so it was a decent stopping point. If you’re looking for great characters (brought to life by the narrators), HEA love story and suspense then you’ll enjoy this one.

This is Charly and Sam’s story. These two end up working together when Sam walks in on a house he was checking out and he heard gunshots and sees Charly, A kid and a dead body. Another great story from this series. It wasn’t as action packed as the others, but was still a good read.
I read it awhile ago and now I listened and loved the audio. The narrators as always did a good job telling Charly and Sam’s story. These two give the characters a voice in an entertaining way.
