    1. Book 1: Designing Samantha’s Love:3 stars
I purchased a copy of the full-length novel Second Chances Series Book 1: Designing Samantha’s Love by PJ Fiala and this review was given freely.
One year after the tragic death of her husband, middle-aged paralegal Samantha resists attempts at matchmaking and professes that the only way she dates is if someone would walk through the door. And then, in walks the divorced architect Grayson Kinkaide. A faith-filled novel that is a suspenseful, steamy, and at times flirty story with a foray into dominance and bondage, a close-knit family, and a string of clingy, vindictive exes. The story has a dark undertone featuring death, alcoholism, a heart attack, and a stalker but ends happily.

Gray and Sam are in their 50’s and find themselves single and empty nesters. PJ has given us a story of new beginnings with grown adult obstacles to navigate along with a page turning stalker. I loved this story. It kept me engaged but at times I needed Gray to grow a pair and I applauded Sams no nonsense attitude and strength.
