    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Interesting plot
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sweet, simmering romance
    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Likable characters
Really enjoyed this page turner… loved that the alpha could be swooney and protective without being overbearing and obnoxious…also enjoyed the fact that the romantic storyline was not coy when it came to taking big relationship steps.

Rescuing Kenna is the third book in the new GHOST Legacy series and is the story of Spencer Lawson and Kenna Lawrence. *You can find the story of Spencer’s parents (Wyatt Lawson and Yvette Jacobson) in Defending Yvette, GHOST book 4.

Fantastic read! I’m really enjoying this new series of GHOST operatives. Rescuing Kenna is gripping from the first page as we dive right into the action. Spencer and the team are still working on the construction site, getting everything operational, and still having issues with sabotage and vandalism. The problem is they’re not sure if it’s due to town pranks or the people up the mountain in Hickory Hills. Though uproars and provocations have lessened between the BRR and the town of Glen Hollow, there’s still an air of danger and tension as the GHOST Legacy team works with the BRR and locals to find solutions to the animosity each holds against the other. With a tentative peace in place, hostility once again rises when Kenna is attacked on the mountain and barely escapes.

Kenna has come home to help her father with the family business as he’s taken ill and unable to work. She grew up helping her father and learning the ropes and pursued the same line of work when she left Glen Hollow behind. Though her reasons for leaving her childhood home were kept quiet as to not damage her family’s name or business reputation, now that she’s back to help her father she also has to face her frightening past. Torn between the fear of her recent attack, facing her abusive ex, her ailing father, and holding the family business together Kenna’s barely holding it together.

Spencer and Kenna meet in an unconventional way as they literally run into each other and an instant attraction sparks. Spencer quickly becomes her safe haven and protector and with them together she feels she may finally have a chance at happiness. It also helps that his teammates and their women are so accepting and friendly and pull her right into their family as one of their own. When tragedy strikes, Kenna finds comfort in Spencer’s arms and she has to decide if what they’ve started to build is worth staying and fighting for or if she’ll leave town again and not look back.

Spencer and Kenna had great chemistry and I enjoyed watching them navigate their budding relationship. Since Kenna had history in the town and with her problems, Spencer had his work cut out for him to be caring and supportive and helpful without going all caveman and trying to take over her life. I liked that Spencer knew and understood that Kenna was independent and cared how others saw her and her family and needed to do things a certain way to keep rumors from flying and her family business reputation not be tarnished. He was accepting, helpful, and protective of her and stood by her side for support as she dealt with her life changes and helped her see how good they could be together if she gave them a chance. I enjoyed them as a couple and the way they worked together to build their relationship on trust, love, and understanding.

This was a great read full of suspense, danger, sadness, angst, drama, action, a touch of violence, laughter, a few twists, family and friends, romance, and some steam.

Grab the tissues and get ready to bawl your eyes out in this emotional, heart racing journey that Kenna & Spencer go thru with a stalker, the BRR, an abusive ex as they try to figure out the who, what and why.

Kenna and Spenser’s story is a wonderful read! From literally running into one another to building a relationship their story is a real heart warming, page turning read. As Kenna tries to deal with her ailing father’s paper serving business she finds herself with an abusive ex boyfriend and someone sending her threatening texts. Spenser jumps in to help her deal with everything and realizes that she’s the one for him. How everything works out is an amazing read! Great story and series!

    GHOST Legacy

Spencer Lawson literally runs into Kenna Lawrence and knocks her over in their first meeting.

Kenna is in town to help with her family’s process serving business due to her father being ill. When she goes to serve the leader of the Hickory Hills she comes back beaten up. She has pulled into the construction site where Spencer and his group work, scared and crying..

Spencer is a member of GHOST, specializing in security, recon and recovery. He tells Kenna he will keep her safe and takes her back to her place to watch over her and to tend to her injuries. She has also ran into her abusive ex boyfriend who she’s afraid of and had left town because of him.

She is being followed, sent threatening texts, photos not knowing exactly who is sending them. Spencer is also getting them.
Spencer will do everything he can to keep her safe and the more time they are together the closer they become.

Will they figure out who is threatening her before it’s too late?

Kenna has come home to help out after her father gets sick. Spencer runs into her and literally falls for her and it’s an instant attraction. When he finds out she has a stalker he’s there for her as her protecter, but we also see a soft side to him when her father’s illness gets worse. There’s danger, suspense, a twist and you’re going to need tissues for this one. The whole Ghost team show their support and how they care for one another. And what will Craig do next?

I received a free copy of the steamy novel Rescuing Kenna: Ghost Legacy Romantic Suspense Series: Book three by PJ Fiala and this review was given freely.
I enjoyed watching the Ghost Legacy’s caring and protective team of operatives seamlessly rally around abuse survivor Kenna to protect her and stop town violence, but I also enjoyed seeing the softer side of Spencer as he gained her trust by supporting her through trauma and grief.
Action and tension-packed with lots of drama, a few twists, touches of steam, and some violence. This poignant novel contains the last moments of Kenna’s father’s life, Spencer and Kenna’s fast-paced instant attraction romance, a stalker, and multiple people with anger management issues.
18+ for intimate scenes and sinister undertones.

This book is happy, scary, and teary. Kenna has a stalker but figuring out who it is
might be harder than it seems.

The Ghost Legacy Series is a must read. The leader of Hickory Hills has gone too far when they attack Kenna for doing her job. Spencer and his team rally around her and soon find themselves involved in much more than just the BRR. This story evokes a lot of emotions as Kenna deals with her fathers illness, the BRR attack, and the harassments of an ex. Rescuing Kenna has everything you could possibly want in a PJ Fiala novel. It is heartbreaking, heart warming, romantic, action packed and has a surprising twist.

Kenna is back home due to her father not being well. She’s hesitant to stay due to her ex. He has some serious issues with her as do other people. What is going on? A stalker is determined to drive her out of town. Spencer is her protector, she’s hurt and frightened. I really enjoyed watching them grow closer. Such an emotional tale with a lot of drama, I loved every moment.
Great read and wonderful characters, I highly recommend this series.

This is Spencer’s story. This one is one of my favorites. Loved the way Spencer and Kenna’s story flowed. Great to see the crew back again. There were some parts that made me chuckle. Then there was some that I was a bit emotional towards the end with her dad that brought back some of my own experiences with my loved ones. Loved how his story was a little like his parents.

I received an ARC through StoryOrigin and volunteered to leave a review.
