RAPTOR is happening soon.

I’ve mentioned this before, but always forget to say it every time I upload a new preorder. When I set up a preorder, I always put them out there way in advance. There are a few reasons for this, life being the biggest one. But, mostly, it’s because Amazon is adamant that a preorder not be moved back. They relate it to user experience, but in drawing a hard line on this fact, they forget that no one hates disappointing their readers more than writers. I don’t want you all unhappy with me anymore than Amazon wants you unhappy. But, in their wisdom (insert eye roll here) Amazon has decided to treat us like children. So, you can move a preorder back one time but if you have to move a preorder again, you lose preorder privileges for a year.

Now, to further add to this irritation, things do happen that are beyond the writer’s control. I’ve had this happen just recently when my editor had some issues mid-edit, that prevented my edits getting back to me on time. This has pushed my next release back a whole month. Had I not had my preorder out there in advance, I’d be in big trouble.

Anyway, I say all this to tell you I have my first RAPTOR book up for preorder, and it’s pushed way out there. I actually plan for this to release in July, not September as the preorder says.

So, after all of that, Saving Shelby, RAPTOR Book One, is now up for preorder. I’ll tell you more about Donovan and Shelby soon, but in the mean time, preorder your copy so you can be one of the first to read Saving Shelby and get to know the men and women from RAPTOR!

Can love triumph over evil?

When Shelby Davidson’s sister goes missing, she’s convinced her wealthy, ruthless brother-in-law is to blame and she fears he’ll harm her niece and nephew. Taking the kids and running seems her only option. Her influential brother-in-law succeeds in making it look as though Shelby has murdered her sister and kidnapped his children. Shelby and the kids are on their own now and it’s going to take a miracle to both survive the hunt and prove she’s not guilty.

Wounded on deployment, Donovan Keach retrains as an operative in RAPTOR. When he’s directed to find the two children before their aunt does them harm, it doesn’t take long to realize the mission is all backwards. Now he must figure out a way to prove Shelby’s innocence, save the children from a dangerous fate with their father, and try not to lose his heart in the process. He’s determined to succeed, even though the last task may be mission impossible.
