This is an interesting topic from my fellow Open Book Blog Hoppers.
It took me some time to think about this. After all, over time, there have been so many wonderful stories told to us. Some newer stories, some handed down over the years.
[tweet_dis inject=”Many families have great stories about ancestors coming over from far away lands.” excerpt=”#OpenBook #MondayBlogs”]Many families have great stories about ancestors coming over from far away lands.[/tweet_dis] Some have a history of bravery or beating the odds. But to me, the greatest story ever told is the story of the creation of mankind, the history of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Bible to me, even though I don’t recite passages on a daily basis, the stories handed down in the Bible are the best stories to me. And I don’t have a favorite, I love them all so much. I’ve been fortunate enough to have had a pastor in our church, who I’d call a master story teller, and he could hold my attention for hours re-telling the stories of our Christian history.
What’s the greatest story ever told in your opinion? Please respond and then let’s hope on over and see what my fellow hoppers think of this subject.
There are many great stories in the Bible. Perhaps the first compilation ever?
The Bible is a fount of stories, all of them about human beings being human, used for a greater cause.
