My roots are nestled in Kentucky soil. Both of my father’s parents were born and raised in Kentucky and my father too. As a child I visited there with my Grandmother Ruth as she went back each summer to visit her sisters and brothers. Those were the best summers. So as an adult, it’s a trip we try to make annually for at least a few days.
As I became an author, it was natural that I’d write a book Kentucky. As the thought percolated in my mind, it became a series and surrounding that series came the idea of Chandler County. So, this series comes from deep roots and love of the area and my family. I sincerely hope you enjoy it.
