Donovan looks back at meeting Hadleigh
With Valentine’s Day approaching it isn’t uncommon to look back at how characters met and how they felt when they had that first glance at the other.
Donovan first saw Hadleigh as she left a client’s house walking with a child. At the time, he thought she was a pedophile, which now seems so surreal it makes him shake his head. Hadleigh is the most pro-child advocate there would be, but at the time he didn’t think so or know that. He watched her walk down the street and immediately he had to build a wall between his heart and his mind.
You know when you meet that special someone, you asses. It’s natural, you watch body language, notice his or her smile, their eyes, their demeanor and you’re assessing whether or not you want to spend more time with this person or not ever!
Donovan is no exception to that initial reaction. While his mind was saying, “Never.” his heart was saying, “Wow.”
