Reading List

This week on Open Book Blog Hop we’re sharing our reading lists. Come on and share your list too!

I’m not a super regimented person, not in certain things.  If I feel like reading, I like having a book ready to go, but my list is not organized in a way that tells me I’ll read this book next and then this one… Basically, if I have the time to read, I’ll open one of the books I have in my kindle and read.

Now, if I’m involved in a series, that’s a whole different ball game.  I begin with the first in the series and work my way through it.  That being said, I’m currently reading Kristen Ashley’s Mystery Man series.  Of course, I’ll read anything Kristen writes, I love her work.  I’m currently only on book 2 and, unfortunately, since I have very little time to read anymore, this series will take me a while.  I used to read 2-3 books a week, not any more.  But, it’s all good.

After this series is read, I’ll move on to another book, though sadly, I can’t say which.  I’ve recently purchased a few…Chasin’ Mason by Stacey Joy Netzel; Sharon Hamilton’s Band of Bachelors series is on my kindle too. I have Violet Duke’s Every Night Before You to read as well.

So tell me, what are you reading?  I’d love to fill my kindle with a few more books.  (Psst, don’t tell my husband.)

  1. I haven’t heard of the Mystery Man series. I’ll have to check it out.

  2. I just finished Sylvie and Shandor by Sunniva Dee next I’m gonna read Train Me by Mia Ford, Just An Illusion side B By D. Kelly, She wants it all by Jessica Calla.

  3. I’ve never been able to get into reading romances. I can handle a touch of romance in other genre books, but books where the romance is the focus … I just lack the personality component or something. But I do love series. Currently, I’m reading Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Saga and I really want to get into Kate Elliott’s Black Wolves series, but I could only get the first book on Kindle and that lacks the visceral connection to the book that a paper-and-ink copy gives me. Both are fantasies … which isn’t really to be unexpected by a speculative fiction author.
