Defending Isabella and how GHOST will live on.
The final installment to my GHOST series, Defending Isabella, is releasing on May 25, 2021. I’m excited about this and also a bit sad. GHOST will be finished, but not set aside. You see, the men and women of GHOST live next door to RAPTOR, my next series. There are other reasons GHOST will live on.
GHOST is run by Gaige Vickers. RAPTOR is run by Emersyn Vickers, Gaige’s niece. You met Emersyn in Defending Keirnan when she was only five years old. She’s now all grown up and running her own covert special ops group. But, more about RAPTOR later. For now, let’s talk about Defending Isabella.
Josh Masters is the final original member of GHOST to find his soul mate. Josh is Jax’s twin sister and every bit the agent Jax is, but more understated. It takes a special woman to lasso Josh and that woman is Isabella Martinez. Isabella is gorgeous, smart (she’s a physician!), she comes from a good family, and she’s not a shrinking violet. Josh wouldn’t have any interest in someone like that.
They met under less than stellar circumstances and Isabella isn’t super impressed initially. She thinks Josh is too impulsive. She learns though but only because she absolutely needs his help.
These two together are a modern day power couple. What does Jax think? I loved writing their first meeting.
Defending Isabella releases May 25th, 2021 – have you preordered your copy yet? Don’t miss the conclusion of GHOST and the introduction to RAPTOR!
Danger comes calling on Isabella, but the criminals have never felt the wrath of Josh Masters. Until now.
Isabella has strong family ties except for a brother who walks on the wrong side of the law. Eager to leave the drama behind, she moved to Texas, became a doctor and is quite happy living without the constant turmoil her brother brings home.
Josh loves working for GHOST – after all, where else could he work where he can travel, play and take down criminals? Celebrating a friend’s wedding, he meets Isabella, a gorgeous, insanely smart and interesting woman. Problem is, she’s not interested in his cloak and dagger lifestyle.
When her brother suddenly goes missing, Isabella has no choice but to ask Josh for help. What they uncover is deadly and falling in love only makes them more vulnerable.
