I’m mining recipes again from my Kentucky family. This one was given to me by my cousin, Doris, but is actually a recipe she received from her daughter-in-law, Tammy. - Pie Crust (prebake to keep from becoming soggy)
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1 c sugar
- 1 T flour
- 1 T meal
- 1 t vinegar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 c buttermilk
- 1 t vanilla
- Prebake pie shell 7-8 mins.
- Mix all remaining ingredients and pour into pie shell.
- Bake 1 hour at 325
