Debbie Diem emailed me after I’d sent the last newsletter to chat. First of all, I love it when readers contact me just for the heck of it, I’ve “met” so many of you this way. Then we chatted about her sending beef jerky to our troops. I asked her if she’d be willing to…
My granddaughter was on a salt free diet for a while so I began looking for recipes we could make that were salt free. I found this recipe and we had fun making individual pizzas. Without salt it is a bit bland, but it sure was good. Also, if your cutting carbs this is perfect.
On Thanksgiving Day we went to my sister-in-law’s house and were asked to bring scalloped potatoes and ham. Now I’ve made it the same way for years but thought I’d look up something new. Turns out, the same recipe I’ve always used is still popular today, from the Betty Crocker Cookbook I received as a…
I needed a quick and easy dessert this week and looked in the pantry to see what I had available. A box of brownie mix wasn’t going to go far enough for the 11 people I needed to serve so I scrounged in the fridge. I had a package of cream cheese. Hmmm. Grabbing my…
Melissa Hoerth Hongisto offered up her Tater Tot Casserole for my side dish call and I’m glad she did. I needed this recipe. Give it a try and let me know how you liked it.

Cindy Hamilton generously shared her recipe for ZaZa Cheesy Vegetables when I’d put out a call for some fall side dishes. This recipes sounds amazing and I’ll be giving it a try this weekend. Thank you Cindy, for sharing.
I put out a call on my Facebook page for great fall side dishes and I’m thrilled to say that several of my friends came through. Today’s recipe is from Vickey Sisal Ropson and she’s shared her Autumn Apple Salad. She said, “It was a hit and even my husband liked it.” That’s strong praise…
I’ve mentioned Shelia from work before, and I’m mentioning her again. She made this recipe which she adapted from a recipe she found on Half Baked Harvest and it’s soooooo good I couldn’t wait to share it.
I’ve had some stomach issues for the past few months. Food not digesting and sitting in my stomach like a hot rock for hours after I eat. Even the smallest thing like a baby carrot would sit. I went to the doctor and he put me on a probiotic, which helped, until it was gone.…
Peach cobbler dessert in a baking dish
My cousin Doris sent me a few recipes a while back, some of those I’ve already shared (remember the delicious peach cake?). We’re doing peaches again, mostly cause they’re delicious. So, I hope you enjoy this Peach Cobbler, I have to say, its my favorite dessert!

This doesn’t change anything for you since the price remains the same.
