Let’s DIP into the recipe box!
Get it? Dip? I know, not that funny, but I asked my friends to post their favorite dip recipes since it’s summer and we do a lot of picnics and dips this time of year. At least we do. And, there’s nothing better than a pot luck of dips. So, here we go, Dips!
- Combine
- 1 package of sliced Ham (chopped)
- 2 large pickles (chopped)
- a shot of pickle juice,
- and 1 package cream cheese
- Mix together! Eat with pretzels, crackers or Townhouse pretzel thins!
- Ingredients
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped to 1/2" slices
- 5 jalapeno’s, diced
- 3/4 c mayonnaise
- 12 oz. cream cheese
- 2 c cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cook bacon over medium heat until crispy
- Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towel
- Sauté diced jalapeños in the skillet with the bacon grease
- While bacon and jalapenos cook combine the cream cheese, mayo, and 1-1/2 cups of cheddar cheese
- Add cooked bacon and jalapenos to the cream cheese mixture
- Add cheese mixture to an oven safe dish cook for 20 minutes
- add remaining 1/2 c of cheese in an even layer on top & place back into the oven for 5 minutes
- Serve with your favorite chip
- Mayo, dill, basil, rosemary, a bit of fancy mustard and a pinch of Cajun seasoning.
- Good with anything and can be spread on salmon before baking.
- Almost forgot you can give it a spritz of lemon juice or vinegar.
- 1 tub of yogurt,
- drizzle in juice from your pickle jar, whisk.
- dead easy and delicious!
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 14 oz. can stewed tomatoes
- 1 1/2 T crushed roasted red pepper
- 2 fresh jalapenos
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 of a medium white onion chopped
- 7 c whole milk (I used 2-3 cans evaporated milk)
- Water
- 1 lb shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 lb shredded montery jack cheese
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 1/2 c flour
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook gently 3 -5 minutes.
- 14 oz. can stewed tomatoes
- 1 1/2 T crushed roasted red pepper

- add Water to make 15 oz. (CCQ turns out smooth)
- 1 lb shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 lb shredded montery jack cheese
- Warm oven to medium heat. Whisk in blender mixture and heat until frothy.
- Add shredded cheeses.
- Bake until cheeses melt.
- Makes a lot of CCQ.
- 2- 8 0z package cream cheese,
- l small can mushrooms,
- 1/4 teaspoon accent salt,
- 1 small jar dried beef,
- green onions to your liking
- cream cheese add accent salt...
- chop up mushrooms,beef ,onions,in chopper,
- add to cream cheese mix with mixer till pretty smooth,
- shape into ball,
- sprinkle a little cheese on top....really good
- 2 boneless chicken breasts, cooked and cooled
- 1 cup miracle whip
- 1 can each Jalapenos and green chiles, drained
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 oz block cream cheese
- Stir everything together
- Bake 350 degrees, 30-35 minutes
- Serve with tortilla chips
- 24 oz sour cream
- 24 oz cream cheese
- Mix together until soft
- Add 12oz beer and add ranch powder dressing to taste...(i make double and is tons)
- 1 pk frozen spinach (thaw and drain out all liquid)
- 1 16oz sour cream
- 1 pk mrs knorr veg. Dip.mix
- 1 small can water chestnuts (drain and chop)
- 3 green onions (chop)
- Use spoon mix everything together...add 8oz shedded cheese
- One jar of your favorite salsa
- 2 pkgs of Kraft Cracker Barrel sharp cheddar (or medium or mild cheddar).
- Put the salsa in a saucepan. Grate the cheese and add to the saucepan. Heat gently, on low or medium heat, stirring occasionally, till cheese is melted. Keep warm in a chafing dish. Serve with Fritos (the big size for dipping), tortilla chips, or your favorite crackers.
- 1 can pizza sauce
- 8oz cream cheese
- Shredded Parmesan
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning minced or smashed into paste
- Fresh mozzarella
- Mix pizza sauce cream cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning and Parmesan
- Put in a baking dish top with fresh mozzarella and bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes. Serve with baguette slices either plain or toasted
- 2 packages of cream cheese spread on bottom of Pyrex dish, add
- 1 to 2 cans Hormel Chili .. depends on how thick I want dip and
- put a layer of shredded Mexican cheese or cheddar cheese.. depends on your taste of tacos and bake over 20 minutes 350 till cheese melts
