I’m super excited to reveal the cover of Defending Sophie to you. I love this cover and the intensity in Gaige’s eyes. Defending Sophie is the first book in my brand new GHOST series. GHOST stands for Government Hidden Ops Specialty Team, who are a group of men and women who have military experience, but …
My husband, Gene, and I have been eating ketogenically for 5 weeks now. At first our worries were finding the time to make food differently. Eating bland food. And, honestly folks, Gene and I have two cookies and a couple cups of coffee every morning – we didn’t want to give that up. So, I …
Missing the Point was fun to write. Stevie is a woman who worked her ass off to make it as a police detective, which any woman knows, isn’t easy. There are constantly obstacles when a woman tries to do a job often thought of as being a “man’s” job. So, she’s tough, but not too …
When I first wrote Missing the Spark, it was titled “We’re Going to Make It” and it was part of Erin Nicholas’ Sapphire Falls Kindle World. I’d read Erin’s stories in Sapphire Falls and enjoyed the world, so being allowed to write in it was an honor and a pleasure. When Amazon discontinued the Kindle …
No lie, my husband and I know three couples who were married, divorced and later in life remarried each other. What are the odds? We were at a charity ride a few years ago, and after we registered, I was standing on the deck at the bar looking out over the crowd. We moved away …
When I sat down to write Designing Samantha’s Love, I’d never written a book before. I just knew the time was here after a lifetime of wanting to write books. I still didn’t know how I’d publish it, or anything about the publishing industry, but the characters had been talking in my head for so …
When I wrote Moving to You, I felt that the story was complete. I loved the way it ended and it seemed that JT and Kayden’s story was in the books, as they say. Then, a couple nights after release I woke in the middle of the night, feeling a bit panicked because I’d left …
When I wrote Moving to You, I knew JT’s road to love couldn’t be the usual. He was the Sheppard brother who had held out the longest, not wanting entanglements, or to be held down. He felt he finally had the opportunity to show his father that he could design bikes and make a name for himself.
With this the week of Valentine’s and all things love, my book of the week is Moving to Desire. Gunnar knows he’s tired of meaningless sex, like anything, even that can get old. A chance meeting introduces him to Emma, who just moved back home after a bad break-up. But, Gunnar has a lot going on – his parents are having a baby, his biological father dies and a box of pictures holds danger and clues to things that should have been left in the past.
It was my turn to hostess my author friends and plotting buddies. Since I’ve been trying to eat as much gluten free as I can, I wanted to make a great meal and dessert to be proud of. I found this gluten free brownie recipe on King Arthur Flour and it was a hit. Chocolaty …
